(Cresaptown area). There are a few Shobes in my 10,000 name database
which is not available because there are living people in it. However,
the attached Stockli.ged file of the first 7 or 8 generations is
available. Will you observe the usual considerations in its use,
especially not to copy it for others to use. There are a number of
reasons why we request this precaution. The database was published
to improve the data therein contained, obtain corrections, and fill in
gaps in the data. The database is the fruit of over ten Stickley
cousins, over half now dead. Ellsworth Stickley published a 1982
listing of Stickleys, and his efforts are reflected in the database.
Any more information you may be willing to give us will be gladly
accepted.

Alice M. Bedford
Mrs. Alice M. Bedford of Kingsbury died Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2000, in
Seguin.
A memorial service was held Saturday, Sept. 9, 2000, at 10 a.m. at the
Kingsbury United Methodist Church with the Rev. Harold Daily
officiating.
Mrs. Bedford is survived by her daughters, Constance Knobloch and her
husband Adee of Kingsbury and Hilda J. Shobe and husband Harold of
South Carolina; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one
great-great-grandchild.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be given to the
Kingsbury United Methodist Church or to a charity of one's choice.
